Reading aloud is an important part of Chinese reading teaching in primary schools,and has been widely used in the teaching of children's poetry.Good reading can make children better appreciate the rhythm of children's poems and the beauty of language,thereby enhancing their understanding of the content and artistic conception of children's poems.However,in the actual teaching process,there are some shortcomings in the teaching of children's poetry reading,such as substituting reading,random reading,and lack of reading guidance.This study takes the lower grades of Y Elementary School in Yangzhou City as an example,and conducts an investigation around the practice of children's poetry reading teaching.Based on the observation of classroom teaching,through questionnaires and interviews and other methods,from the perspectives of teachers and students,and the teaching design of children's poetry reading aloud,the teaching process of children's poetry reading aloud,and the evaluation and reflection of children's poetry reading teaching are discussed.The survey results show that the school has gained some experience in the teaching of children's poetry reading aloud in the lower grades,such as enhancing the awareness of both teachers and students about reading children's poems,enhancing students' interest in reading children's poems,and improving students' language comprehension.There are problems such as lack of scientific teaching design,insufficient effectiveness of teaching process,and weak pertinence of teaching evaluation and reflection,which lead to unsatisfactory teaching effect.Through further analysis,this study believes that the teaching of children's poetry reading is affected and restricted by internal and external factors.Internally,it is mainly because teachers have insufficient theoretical and practical foundation for reading aloud and cannot provide good reading demonstrations;externally,it is mainly due to the influence of traditional examoriented education concepts and the reduction of time for students to read aloud.The optimization of children's poetry reading teaching requires the joint efforts of teachers,schools,and even related education departments.First of all,through the training of teachers' reading skills,the theoretical and practical level of teachers' reading teaching will be further improved,and teachers' reading teaching design ability will be strengthened;Secondly,appropriate reading methods should be adopted for different text contents,and effective evaluation and reflection should be implemented;Finally,using the spare time,a variety of interesting reading activities are organized to stimulate the enthusiasm of students to read aloud.
