In the autumn of 2020,the Ministry of Education's unified high school language textbooks will be put into use nationwide,ushering in a shift from "one syllabus with many books" to "unified textbooks with one review and one use".With the continuous reform of the curriculum,the language standards have also made corresponding adjustments and requirements,for example,the aesthetic dimension in the core literacy requires students to develop aesthetic awareness and enhance their aesthetic skills.The humanistic nature of the language curriculum helps students to discover,feel,appreciate and create beauty.Therefore,promoting the aesthetic development of high school students is an important task of language teaching.The element of beauty that the female figure possesses is a worthy part of aesthetic education in the language.In the context of the new curriculum reform,studies on aesthetic education and female image are numerous and diverse,but there is still much room for research on aesthetic education on female image in the unified high school language textbooks.Therefore,the study aims to develop students' aesthetic awareness and improve their aesthetic ability,focusing on the aesthetic educational value of female images in textbooks,using quantitative statistics to sort out female images in textbooks and text analysis to investigate the beauty of female images typical of textbooks,then a questionnaire survey was conducted to understand the real situation of teachers and students in the aesthetic education of female image,to analyze the problems and causes of the aesthetic education of female image in the teaching materials,and to consider and propose a series of corresponding implementation strategies.Firstly,the study takes the image of women in the unified high school language textbooks as the object of study,defines the concept of language textbooks,the image of women and aesthetic education and explains the relevant theories of the study.Through the use of tables and statistics,the distribution of female images in the unified senior secondary language textbooks is sorted out and classified according to the time period,country and role of female images.Secondly,the beauty that women possess is the basis for aesthetic education on the female image.Considering the difficulty of unifying the criteria for classifying female beauty,the most typical categories of female beauty,including beauty in appearance,personality,character,emotion and talent,are selected and discussed in relation to specific female figures.Then,the necessity and value of aesthetic education on the image of women in the unified high school language textbooks are explained.Finally,through questionnaires and analysis,textbook study and literature references,the problems of editors,students and teachers in the aesthetic education of female image are identified and pointed out,while the causes of the problems are considered,and finally implementation strategies are proposed for the aesthetic education of female image:editors innovate the aesthetic concept to attach importance to the aesthetic education of female image,students enhance their aesthetic awareness to participate in the aesthetic learning of female image,and teachers improve their aesthetic quality to guide the aesthetic education of female image.
