Based on the theory of the stage of teacher career development and the theory of demand and incentive,this paper is divided into six parts,combining with the relevant policies of teacher education revitalization in China and the theoretical research of scholars at home and abroad on rural teachers and factors affecting teachers' enthusiasm.The first part is the introduction,including the research background,research significance,literature review at home and abroad,definition of relevant concepts,research objectives and content,research methods,innovation and shortcomings.The second part expounds the theoretical foundation of the old rural elementary school teachers' work motivation problems and analysis,for the rural primary school aged teachers set up six dimensions of investigation: job objectives,emotional mood,cognition and evaluation,job involvement,school and community recognition degree,job performance,to choose a suitable according to the content requirements of each dimension problems of questionnaire.The third part of the rural primary school elderly teachers work enthusiasm analysis of the current situation: first,the investigation of S township primary school basic situation is introduced;After that,teachers were classified by questionnaire survey and the status quo of the survey was analyzed to learn the real information about the working status of elderly teachers in rural primary schools,which laid an important foundation for countermeasures.In the fourth part,through the analysis of the current situation of rural primary school elderly teachers' working enthusiasm,it is concluded that rural primary school elderly teachers' working enthusiasm appears part of the elderly teachers' work focus gradually shifted;The passion of teaching work of elderly teachers is declining continuously;Low level of concern and participation in school issues;The enthusiasm of participating in school education reform is low;Village teachers hold a negative attitude towards professional title evaluation;Rural schools with old and new traditions have not been passed on;The old teachers' initiative in home-school cooperation is weak in seven aspects.The fifth part and the sixth part respectively from the humanistic care,information technology,work performance,professional title evaluation,social recognition of the rural primary school elderly teachers work enthusiasm problem of the formation of the reasons and solutions to the analysis.The main reasons for the declining enthusiasm of elderly teachers in rural primary schools are summarized as follows: lack of care and understanding from all aspects;Low ability to learn information technology;Elderly teachers' work performance evaluation is low;The fairness of professional title evaluation system is not high;Relative decline in social prestige and recognition.And correspondingly put forward to explore the potential,strengthen the humanistic care;Strengthen guidance and master information technology;Scientific evaluation,recognition of work performance;Professional title tilt,improve the evaluation mechanism;To stimulate enthusiasm,strengthen home-school cooperation five aspects to mobilize the initiative of countermeasures,to a certain extent,alleviate the disease in the development of elderly teachers in rural primary schools in China,effectively promote the professional development and ability of the elderly teachers in underdeveloped rural areas.
