Respecting teachers and attaching importance to education has become the traditional virtue of the Chinese nation,and the dignity of teachers is the educational wisdom accumulated from long-term educational practice.The thought of strict teacher is deeply contained in the excellent traditional culture of China and the West.China earlier clearly put forward the word “strict teachers”,for the meaning of“respect for teachers”.However,in today's society,the lofty status of teachers is no longer the past.Students insulted and beat teachers frequently,and parents sued teachers from time to time.It leads to the problem that some teachers prefer to let the students indulge rather than manage them strictly.Therefore,strict teachers are mistaken as teachers who restrict students' personality development,one-sided pursuit of academic results,overemphasis on discipline or criticism,and lack of care for students.The fundamental reason is that people attach too much importance to the“appearance” of the strict teachers,but ignore the “heart” of the strict teachers.That is the value of educating people.Strict teachers can promote the transformation of students from natural persons to social persons,and they are excellent representatives of the society.Meanwhile,they can promote students to the cultural people,pursuing personal growth and life development,who are the promoter of students' happiness.Under the background of the new era,caring ethics provides a new thinking direction for the study of strict teachers,and the construction of “caring strict teachers” has become the new demand for teacher development.The strict teachers are the unity of the actual state and the supposed state,and the unity of the fact judgment and the value judgment.On the premise of conforming to professional norms and educational rules,strict teachers based on care and love have strict requirements for himself and students,and can be respected by students and promote the sound development of students.Among them,emotional care is the inner logical starting point.Rational care is the teaching quality that strict teachers should have.Ultimate care is the value pursuit.A good teacher not only has the responsibility of being a caregiver,but also has the need to be cared for.So as to promote the development of talented students,we should devote ourselves to constructing strict teachers' caring community,which includes not only the core caring relationship between strict teachers and students,but also the caring relationship based on self-acceptance and self-establishment,and also includes their use of external forces to interact with others,such as the caring relationship established by society,school,and parents.Based on the theoretical construction in the early stage,the author conducted in-depth interviews and investigations in teaching practice,and presented real and complete cases to show the reality of the transition from novice teachers to strict teachers.Teachers generally experience some transformation processes from “not strict” to “strict flexibly”.Discipline is not only limited to classroom teaching,but also manifested in the interaction between teachers and students,professional development and future impact.In teaching practice,strict teachers can not only be “strict” for students,but also “strict” for themselves.However,the development of strict teachers is still faced with many difficulties,which leads to the difficulty of “strict” for those who want to be strict.First,the dignity of traditional teachers is weakened,and there is a phenomenon of “emphasizing education instead of respecting teachers”.Second,the contradiction of home-school cooperative education intensifies,resulting in the problem of “missing responsibility” of home-school.Third,it is the differentiation of individual development of strict teachers,so there is the problem of paying more attention to “shape” than “heart”.The emergence of these dilemmas is mainly related to the impact of times change,the lack of humanistic care at home and school,the personal “professional charm” of teachers and the complexity of strict itself.Therefore,it is a new call for the development of education in the new era to reshape the care-oriented strict teacher,highlight the standard of strict teacher education and build a community of strict teacher care.The new era is a beautiful era in which material civilization and spiritual civilization develop vigorously on the basis of the old era.Under the background of the new era,the caring strict teacher has so many special characteristics.In order to reshape the strict teacher in the new era,it is necessary for strict teachers to play the role of caregiver and learn to care for students.It also needs others to care for strict teachers and meet their external needs for development.
