As the music industry continues to grow,more and more students are choosing to enter higher music education through national higher education entrance examination,known as art examinations,and the group of art students is growing increasingly.Art students are those who study music professionally at high school level,and the they are divided into two categories: 'vocal' and 'instrumental'.Nowadays,arts examinations not only examine the art students' professional skills but also add a basic test of sight-singing.Sight-singing is the ability to read music,which is the main test of a student's ability to read music.The exam requires students to express the musical elements of pitch,rhythm,speed and intensity while sight-singing.In Nanjing Normal University,which is the examination venue for the Jiangsu Provincial Music Examination,the numerical notation is the first choice for most students in the sight-singing examination.For example,although the piano score is based on the stave,most of piano learners still choose to sing in the first key of the numerical notation in the sight-reading examination.In order to better analyse the current situation and the reasons for the choice of the score of art students,this paper takes the art students of Xuzhou Thirty-Six Middle School as the subject,and examines their choice of the score and the factors influencing them.This paper firstly introduces the current situation of the use of simple and pentatonic notation in sight-singing;then it goes into the classroom of sight-singing and ear training and conducts a comprehensive research based on the teachers' classroom teaching in three dimensions: curriculum,choice of sight-singing teaching materials and teaching methods.Finally,this paper concludes by considering the current situation of the teaching of sight-singing in the 36 th Form of Xuzhou Arts Examinations from three perspectives: the choice of sight-singing teaching materials,the re-education of teachers,the psychological quality of students and the family environment,and giving rational suggestions.
