In recent years,an interesting phenomenon has appeared in my country's physical education class-students do not sweat in physical education class.Students like sports, but they are not interested in school physical education;coupled with bad behavior habits and behavior styles, there is quite a downward trend in the aspect of the physical activity level especially between Chinese teenagers. However, basketball teaching brings a positive effect.Students' physical fitness has shown an improvement with it,and basketball can improve students' sports morality and coordination skills. At this stage, cultivating students' interest and improving the quality of basketball teaching are particularly important for students to develop lifelong physical exercise habits and enhance their physical fitness. At present, the basketball physical education in elementary and middle schools in our country has a teaching form similar to "demonstration class","technical class" and "safety class",which results in insufficient exercise load for students during activities. The KDL sports and health curriculum start from students' hobbies, develop students' sports ethics, healthy behaviors, and athletic abilities according to the characteristics of the physical and mental development of students in each semester, combined with the learning needs of students of different ages.KDL sports and health curriculum are widely accepted by the public, and it is precisely because its purpose is to train children and young people to become people with "(exercise)ability","enthusiastic about sports" and "(sports)culture".With the help of many literatures, this paper aims to design and improve the KDL sports and health curriculum concept. As a result,we carried out the junior high school basketball teaching design in Qingdao City Laoshan Yucai School for experimental research. The experimental group adopts the basketball teaching design under the KDL sports and health curriculum concept, and the control group adopts the traditional basketball teaching design. The experiment time is 12 weeks. Before and after the experiment, test the physical fitness level, sports learning interest and basketball skills of different groups of students, analyze various indicators of different groups before and after the experiment, and verify the application effect of the KDL sports and health curriculum concept in junior high school basketball teaching.Through the above research, the following conclusions are drawn:1.The junior high school basketball teaching based on the KDL sports and health curriculum concept emphasizes fun and pays more attention to students' learning interests. As the result shows, junior high school students' interest in sports learning has been improved some in all dimensions with carrying out the curriculum concept.2.Based on the KDL sports and health curriculum, junior high school basketball teaching can significantly improve the skills of junior high school students in basketball dribbling and dribbling shots in the half-court area.Pull-ups and other items have a significant effect.Among them,as we can see the boys in the experimental group had more progress.Besides, the girls in the experimental group made greater progress, and the girls had less progress in the 50-meter race after the experiment in sitting forward flexion than the boys after the experiment.3.In these aspects conclude physical health tests, sports learning interest, and basketball skills of different genders, the junior high school basketball teaching and concept of KDL sports and health curriculum all has a significant positive effect on them, but the specific dimensions of its impact on different genders are different.
