Pedagogical Content Knowledge(PCK)is an important starting point for kindergarten teachers' professional development in the field of music.At present,there are few studies on music PCK in the stage of preschool education.Investigating the current situation of music PCK for kindergarten teachers can enrich the research in this field and help teachers find a strong support in future training and independent learning.This study aims to present the performance and characteristics of preschool teachers in the three dimensions of music PCK,explore the factors affecting the development of preschool teachers' music PCK,and put forward suggestions and opinions on the development of music PCK.In this study,N Kingdergarden in S City was selected as the research object according to the principle of convenient sampling.Data were collected through literature method,observation method and interview method.12 music collective teaching activities of 6 teachers were observed and 16 teachers were interviewed.The qualitative analysis tool NVIVO11 PRO was used to analyze the data.It is found that preschool teachers have a good grasp of the dominant knowledge of music goals,but their music ability needs to be strengthened.In terms of children's knowledge,based on teaching experience,preschool teachers have a basic understanding of children's existing experience and learning difficulties in the field of music,and make a reasonable evaluation of children's learning results,but have a vague understanding of children's learning characteristics.In terms of music teaching strategy knowledge,preschool teachers have a good grasp of educational situation knowledge,and at the same time,teachers can skillfully use various specific teaching strategies to help achieve activity goals.There are four factors that affect the development of teaching knowledge in the field of music for kindergarten teachers.The first is the factors from preschool teachers themselves,including the interest in music learning,teaching reflection ability and outstanding music skills.The second factor comes from the kindergarten,including music teaching and research activities,the principal's support,colleagues' role model,children's progress and the kindergarten's assessment management system.The third is the influence of pre-service education,including school curricula and internship arrangements.Finally,there are the influence factors from the surrounding people,including family members and musical talents,who motivate teachers to learn music.It is suggested that teachers should supplement the knowledge of PCK and clarify the significance of PCK to their professional development.Teachers should make use of multi-channel ways to learn by themselves and have the courage to organize music activities.Kindergarten should carry out kindergarten-based teaching and research based on teachers' needs,and construct learning professional community at the same time.Pre-service education should raise the requirement of music teaching method and strengthen the cooperation of practice management with kindergarten.
