With the continuous development of social politics and economy,the problem of employment difficulty for college students has become increasingly prominent and become a constant hot issue at present.To some extent,the difficulty in employment reflects the gap between college students’ employment expectation and the actual employment reality.Employment expectation specifically refers to the individual’s desire for a certain occupation.It is the individual’s attitude and belief that he hopes to engage in a certain occupation,which directly affects the employment choice of college students.Setting up a correct outlook of employment expectation is of great significance for college students to adjust their employment expectation and alleviate the social problem of college students’ employment difficulty.Whether individual employment expectation can be realized depends on whether individual employment expectation is reasonable in addition to individual ability and quality and the demand of employers.Therefore,scientific and reasonable employment expectation become the key to the smooth realization of the employment goal of college students.This research mainly through the questionnaire and interview method,the pedagogy major graduates’ employment choice question to carry on the investigation.The questionnaire survey selected 547 undergraduate students majoring in education in Jiang Su Province to conduct the survey.In addition,this study interviewed individual graduates of five majors to help analyze the existing problems in the research.Through the investigation,the author obtained a large number of first-hand effective data.Literature research is also used in the process of topic selection,proposal and writing.According to the research direction,the author consulted and read a large number of government reports,policies and regulations,and searched relevant literature and papers through websites such as CNKI.The data published by the government and the research results of experts and scholars provide data and theoretical support for this study.Firstly,this study obtained relevant data based on questionnaires,interviews and literature review,and carried out detailed data analysis in combination with the theme of this study and the dimension of questionnaire design.Secondly,through the above data analysis,combined with the theoretical basis of this study,we find some problems in the employment expectations of undergraduates majoring in education: subjective level,including employment concept,professional knowledge and skills,career planning;The objective aspect includes the employment guidance of colleges and universities,the professional training mode and the society and the government.In combination with the relevant knowledge of sociology of education,psychology and human resource management,the author discusses the above problems in detail,so as to better conduct the next research.Finally,through a detailed analysis of the above problems,this study puts forward targeted countermeasures and suggestions from the perspectives of individuals,schools and society.
