Not only is vocational education an important part of our country's education,but also a vital foundation for national economic and social development.With the rapid development of vocational education,the previous curriculum system has been unable to meet the requirements of contemporary vocational education talent training.The development of school-based curriculum is not only an effective way to reform the curriculum of secondary vocational education,but also one of the important contents of professional curriculum construction in secondary vocational schools.Local cultural resources are one of the important curriculum resources for school-based curriculum development.School-based curriculum development based on local cultural resources is not only conducive to the formation of unique school-running characteristics,but also conducive to the promotion of the protection and inheritance of local culture,and promotes the integration of culture and tourism,as well as the improvement of teachers' comprehensive ability and the promotion of all-round development of students.This article uses literature research,questionnaire survey method,interview method and case study method to provide a theoretical and practical basis for the development and implementation of the school-based curriculum of "Simulated Tour Guide" based on local culture in secondary vocational schools.Through literature research,related concepts and theoretical foundations are introduced.Through questionnaire surveys of students in vocational schools and interviews with teachers,the current situation of tourism professional curriculum settings in vocational colleges is analyzed.Students' personality development,single teaching goals,etc.Therefore,school-based curriculum development based on local culture is needed.For existing problems,attention should be paid to the development of local cultural characteristics,focusing on the practicality and development of the curriculum,and respecting the uniqueness and differences of students.In the process of constructing the school-based curriculum development of "Simulated Tour Guide" which is compatible with the development of local culture of Nanjing,by means of interviews with teachers and students of secondary vocational colleges,their requirements for the development of local culture school-based curriculum of Nanjing can be satisfied through recording the development process in terms of course implementation and evaluation.Also,through two cases of "Ming Dynasty Cultural Journey" and "Literary Works Journey",how to combine local culture with school-based curriculum is clarified.There is a need for us teachers to consult and integrate local cultural resources,attach importance to the combination of theory and practice,add event design when compiling textbooks,and improve students' professional skills in tourism services through situational teaching such as on-site tour guide simulation.In addition,through teaching evaluation and reflection,it helps students understand their own shortcomings and better master relevant knowledge.
