In recent years,a number of policies issued in China have put forward new requirements for teacher teaching evaluation.The evaluation of teachers' teaching has been carried out earlier and some experience and practices have been accumulated in the US and Singapore.The study of teacher teaching evaluation can provide a new perspective for teachers' teaching and professional development.That has some certain theoretical and practical significance to compare and analyze the evaluation system of teachers' teaching in different counties.This study aims at the teaching evaluation system of teachers in the United States(Wisconsin)and Singapore,using literature,comparative and case analysis,combines with effective teaching and understanding teaching theories,and then summary and analyze the related materials of the United States(Wisconsin)and Singapore.Based on that,this paper compares and analyzes the design basis,evaluation index,evaluation standard and experience in designing evaluation index of teachers' teaching in the two places.And put forward some suggestions for teachers' teaching and professional development in China.This study found that the teacher teaching evaluation systems in the United States and Singapore are both similar and different in design concept,evaluation purpose and evaluation index;under the framework of effective-standing teaching framework,the experience of the two places is to combine macro and micro teaching objectives,exam the integrity of teachers' teaching process,and diversity of teaching activities,evaluate whether to establish and maintain an understanding teacher-student relationship,and pay attention to teachers' utilization of resources,reflection afterclassroom and participation in professional teams.From the above research contents,China need to deepen teachers' understanding and metacognitive ability,establish a unified system and adopt core indicators for teacher teaching evaluation,strengthen the integration of teacher education and teacher belief education,and make great efforts to improve teaching professionalism and social status.
