As an important part of the language curriculum, the teaching of ancient poetry plays an important role in improving students' literacy and accumulating literature, and has higher requirements for implementing the 'human-centered' teaching philosophy, but there are still deficiencies in the teaching of ancient poetry, such as students' lack of reading expectations and difficulties in integrating horizons. The theory of anticipatory horizons in receptive aesthetics is a'reader-centered' view of the world, which requires that the teaching of ancient poetry pay attention to subjective reading, personalized reading and diverse interpretations. The theoretical findings have many implications for deepening the teaching of ancient poetry. How to introduce the theoretical findings of anticipatory horizons into the study of ancient poetry teaching,so that the teaching of ancient poetry can better reflect the "human-centered" teaching philosophy, becomes the problem that this paper aims to solve.Apart from the introductory and concluding sections, the main text consists of four chapters. The first chapter explores the feasibility of integrating the theory of anticipatory horizons with the teaching of ancient poetry. The theoretical origins of anticipatory horizons are sorted out,and the foundations of the core concepts of anticipatory horizons are examined in the doctrines of Husserl's phenomenology,Gadamerian hermeneutics,Heidegger's ontology, and Popper's observation theory. The core concepts and theoretical thrusts of expectation horizon theory are integrated into the features of teaching ancient poetry, indicating feasible points for students' subjective reading, personalized reading and diverse interpretations.Chapter 2 uses questionnaires to understand the real-life situation of teaching ancient poetry,to identify problems in teaching ancient poetry and to conduct an attribution analysis.Chapter 3 explores the teaching strategies of ancient poetry under the expectation horizon theory, introducing the results of the expectation horizon theory into the teaching of ancient poetry due to the real situation of ancient poetry teaching, and combining the examples of famous teachers' lessons to explain the transition from "reader subject" to "student subject" and from "directed expectation" to "student subject".The study also illustrates the importance of the "reader's subject" to the "student's subject",from "directed expectation" to "contextual introduction",from "vision opening" to "student-based dialogue",from The study of ancient poetry is based on the following strategies: from "calling for structure" to "restoring the poetic context",from "innovative expectations" to "cultural consciousness".The fourth chapter focuses on the theory of anticipatory horizons.Chapter 4 focuses on the application of the teaching strategies of ancient poetry under the theory of anticipatory vision to actual classroom teaching, examining the teaching process of "The Sound of Voices" and discussing the effectiveness of the practice process, paying attention to the balance between dominant and subjective, basic and multiple interpretations in the process.
