Local geography curriculum resources are an important carrier of cultivating students' core literacy of geography,which can enhance students' intuitive feeling of the surrounding geographical environment,help them better understand the geographical principles and apply textbook knowledge to practice,cultivate their geographical emotion of loving the country and the countryside,and promote students' all-round development.Therefore,this paper starts from the application of Jincheng local geography curriculum resources in the current senior high school geography teaching,summarizes the main problems,and puts forward solutions and suggestions,in order to provide a reference for front-line geography teachers in Jincheng senior high schools,clarify the direction of their efforts,and improve the quality of teaching.At present,although there are a lot of studies on local geography,few of them go deep into the classroom or teaching plans to analyze the application of local geography curriculum resources in geography teaching in senior high school.In order to better understand the application of local geography resources in senior high school geography teaching in Jincheng,the author not only conducted a questionnaire survey among senior high school students but also carried out interviews with senior high school teachers to understand the attitudes of students and teachers towards the application of local geography curriculum resources in teaching and the utilization of local geography curriculum resources.In addition,based on the national public service platform for education resources,the author analyzed some of the excellent courses involving local geography in the senior high school geography display courses in Jincheng in recent five years,so as to have a deep understanding of the deficiencies that teachers have in the process of applying local geography curriculum resources.Through research,the author found the lack of access and professional ability is the main difficulty for most teachers in applying local geographical resources.Therefore,by the means of literature analysis and field investigation,the author sorted out the local geography curriculum resources,summarized the main characteristics of local geography,and listed the sources and selection principles of local geography curriculum resources in Jincheng.The sources mainly include the text resources,physical resources,intangible cultural resources,network resources and resource exchange platform and the three selection principles are being in line with the actual teaching needs,highlighting the geographical characteristics of the region and focusing on timeliness.Given that there is no space for the implementation of local geography curriculum resources in senior high school,most teachers and students now consider it is most suitable to use them in the classroom,so the author explored several methods of application of local geography curriculum resources in teaching,including establishing a situation,designing teaching,creating test papers,designing learning guide by using local geography curriculum resources.Specific application examples and considerations of each method are provided for the reference of front-line teachers,and the author hopes that the methods can play a certain role in promoting senior high school geography education in Jincheng.
