The National Core Arts Standards,published in 2014,proposes four processes of visual art and process-oriented art education.The construction of the content,structure and fundamental evaluation system of the art course should be process-oriented.Having a good study in art at primary school forms a robust foundation for the study at next stage,hence the design and evaluation of artwork is indispensable in art education.Process-orientated art education emphasizes the awareness and expectation on the activities and creation process of students,aiming at achieving the development of personal literacy and motivating the core competence of art.According to the National Core Arts Standards,the teacher should be the designer of the course,and the evaluation can be considered as the expected target and the tool to diagnose and drive the education activities in order to design the education process and the homework which is based on students effectively.Therefore,the combination of ‘Teaching-Studying-Evaluating' can be achieved by applying the evaluation of the degree of comprehension of the students as the feedback to the education process.In this thesis,the research on the design and evaluation of the artwork at primary school is conducted from process-oriented point of view.The research work consists of seven chapters.Chapter1 is the introduction,briefing the background,meaning and methodology of the research.On the other hand,relevant literatures are reviewed,which provides a theoretical preparation for future work;In Chapter2,the concept,core and inspiration of process-oriented art education has been introduced;In Chapter3,seven sample primary schools in Nanan District of Chongqing are investigated on the current situation of primary school art operation design and evaluation.In Chapter4,the ineffectiveness of the design of artwork at primary school has been reviewed,Chapter5 analyzes the ineffectiveness of the evaluation of artwork at primary school.and the strategy of designing the art homework under the philosophy of process-oriented has been proposed in Chapter 6.In Chapter7,based on one course ‘My New Friend' at Grade 1,a practical trial on the process-oriented design of homework and the foundation evaluation has been conducted.In addition,the idea that process-oriented design of art homework and the evaluation should improve,promote and progress mutually has been proposed.In the end,a conclusion on the process-oriented design of art homework at primary school and the strategy of evaluation has been summarized.
