The General High School Geography Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition)proposes to strengthen the cultivation of students' geographical key competencies,making it clear that high school geography teaching should be based on actual situation and charateristics of schools and students to build up and cultivate high school students' geographical competences.The key competences in geography subject mainly includes the concept of human-earth harmony,comprehensive thinking,regional cognition and geographical competence.The concept of human-earth harmony is the most important concept in the content of geography curriculum,which includes the scientific concept of population,resources,environment and development.How to effectively cultivate it has become a question for geography teachers to think about,which has always been relatively a weak part in senior high school geography teaching.At present,the research on the cultivation of senior high school students' harmonious outlook on life is insufficient.Therefore,in order to explore the cultivation strategy,and based on the theories of humanistic learning,multiple intelligences and constructivism,taking the students and teachers in my school as the objects of the investigation,the paper uses the methods of literature research,statistical analysis,questionnaire survey and case analysis to study the current situation of the cultivation of students' hamonious concept and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures.The main results are as follows:(1)The students' concept of human-earth harmony needs to be further cultivated.The result of the questionnaire shows that the students do not fully understand the concept of human-earth harmony;a large part of students fail to examine and regulate their behaviors with the concept;some students can not put the concept into practice and into their daily life;for most of the time in class,teachers teach by talking and students take the role of listening,which results in no enough time for students to study independently and inquiry cooperatively so the students' participation decreases.In the process of teaching,teachers don't completely emphasize the importance to it so that the ways for students to acquire the concept of human-earth harmony are limited,with families providing inadequate education about it.According to the survey,the students lack the awareness of human-earth harmony and it turn out that their ability to analyze the relationship between human and earth is poor,and the ability to adapt to the complex situation and the real situation of human-land relationship is weak.(2)Teachers' ability to cultivate the concept of human-earth harmony needs improving.Most teachers do not have a clear and full understanding of the content and the concept of human-earth harmony;When teachers set their teaching goals,they do not put the cultivation of students' harmonious concept into consideration;They do not guide students to use the concept to examine and regulate their daily behavior;Most teachers do not use the concept of human-earth harmony to analyze and solve geography problems;Most of the teachers do not use or design localized cases for teaching;When teaching the content of human-earth harmony,most of the teachers did not select and design related exercises to strengthen the students' concept;At present the teaching methods used to improve students' concepts are mainly oral instruction and cases analysis.The evaluation are mainly paper tests and class observation.The main factors that hinder its teaching are the current examination-oriented education,the heavy tasks in teaching and the abstract and empty contents.Secondly,the lack of teaching resources,limited teaching capacity,less class hours and delayed teaching innovation have less impact on it.(3)As for the cultivation of the human-earth harmony concept,the author proposes that: To strengthen teachers' cultivation of the human-earth harmony concept;to improve the awareness to dig up the related materials of the human-earth relationship;To diversify the teaching methods;to strengthen the human-earth harmony concept in exercises;Carry out teaching evaluation in time;To understand the human-earth relationship in practice and to perfect the objective conditions of the human-earth harmony concept.(4)According to the teaching strategies proposed as above,the author combined with the local case,to design this senior high geographical teaching plan — "Industrial Location Factors and Their Changes".
