Education is the foundation of the country,and students are the hope of the country’s development.In the environment of exam-oriented education,scholars need to care about the mental health and behavior habits of teenagers.Research shows that exam-oriented education reflects the power of discipline.This study will use selfefficacy as an intermediary variable to discuss the relationship between educational discipline and student behavior.This paper uses the data from the China Education Panel Survey(2013-2014&2014-2015),and uses SPSS24.0 for data processing.After database matching,a total of 9449 valid samples were obtained.The paper uses the multiple linear regression model to analyze the influence of educational discipline on submissive behavior,and uses sequential test and Sobel test to test whether self-efficacy plays a mediating effect between educational discipline and submissive behavior.The results show that some educational discipline methods have an impact on the training of submissive behavior,but the effects are different.Positive guidance methods help to cultivate submissive behavior,while reverse disciplinary methods are negatively related to the training of submissive behavior.In addition,to a certain extent,selfefficacy can play a mediating effect between educational discipline and submissive behavior.Specifically,teacher supervision and standardized adjudication can play an indirect role on submissive behavior through self-efficacy.However,self-efficacy acts as a mediating variable,did not play a mediating effect on the path of the impact of classification on submissive behavior.At the same time,the paper found that the same discipline has different effects on behavior and self-efficacy.This paper has important theoretical significance and practical value.At the theoretical level,this research enriches the research methods of discipline theory and examines the relationship between discipline technology and submissive behavior from a quantitative perspective.At the practical level,this research can help educators reflect on the rationality of disciplinary methods in the teaching process.
