Under the background of the new curriculum reform,the goal of "establishing virtue and cultivating people" has always been the general starting point of the class of "Morality and rule of law" and the spiritual essence of the class of "Morality and Rule of law".In an educational environment that insists on cultivating elite talents for the country,and in the implementation of the teaching mission of 'building moral character',the main task of the Ethics and Rule of Law classroom is to cultivate students' core qualities in the subject based on their future growth needs.But the realization of this teaching task,must innovate the teaching idea,introduces the new teaching method,looks for an effective way which can let the student discipline accomplishment cultivation and "the morality and the rule of law" classroom teaching combination.At present,the hot topic in educational circles,the project teaching method,is to use the project as the active carrier of cooperative inquiry mode,which runs through the morality and the rule of law teaching,so that students can maximize the use of learning resources in a real situation through five steps: project construction,project grouping,data collection,project evaluation.It is of profound significance to optimize the cultivation of students' academic literacy.The article uses documentary analysis,survey interviews and case studies as the main methods of writing the article.Firstly,on the basis of a great deal of research on"project teaching",the background and significance of this study,the present situation of research at home and abroad,research ideas,research methods and innovations are expounded.Secondly,it also draws on a literature review to interpret the concept and main features of the project teaching method and to argue whether it is possible to practice project teaching in upper secondary school courses on ethics and the rule of law.Again,through a survey with some students and interviews with some teachers in middle school Z,we found that the application of the project teaching method in the classroom of ethics and the rule of law in middle school has the advantages of"helping to improve the effectiveness of the classroom" and "helping to implement the core qualities of the subject for students",there are also problems,such as "teachers' teaching is outdated and their own ability is insufficient" and "students' thinking is fixed and their own learning ability is insufficient".In response to these problems,the article proposes measures to "improve the school management model","change teachers' teaching philosophy and strengthen their own capacities" and "make pupils active learners and improve their ability to learn through projects"."This section is the focus of the article.Finally,using a case study based on the Ministry's version of a lesson on ethics and the rule of law,the final section of the paper builds on the strengths of a project-based approach to teaching and learning.
