Under the background of comprehensively promoting the high-quality development of education at all levels in China,the development of secondary vocational education has been strongly supported by the state.Although it has made great progress in development scale,teaching staff,integration of industry and education and guarantee conditions,it lacks matching attention to the learning motivation of secondary vocational students.Among the many factors that affect the learning motivation of secondary vocational students,the social support is an important factor.Many scholars have studied social support and learning motivation.They also put forward methods to improve the social support and learning motivation.However,in previous studies,there is a lack of research on secondary vocational students.This paper studies the relationship between the social support and learning motivation of secondary vocational students through questionnaire and interview,and puts forward the academic rational educational suggestions.The first chapter briefly summarizes the background,concept,literature review,ideas and methods of this paper;The second chapter establishes the analytical framework of this paper based on the existing literature,social support theory and three driving forces theory;The third chapter mainly introduces the design and implementation of questionnaires and interviews;The fourth chapter analyzes the current situation and relationship based on the results of questionnaires and interviews,and displays the survey results from two aspects: the current situation of social support and learning motivation of secondary vocational students;The fifth chapter describes the research conclusions: The social support of secondary vocational students is generally good,especially the support of teachers;The learning motivation of secondary vocational students is still good,and the altruistic motivation is the strongest;Social support has a significant impact on learning motivation,and the impact of different dimensions is different.According to the above problems,the following improvement suggestions are put forward: Firstly,strengthen family communication and lay students' internal drive for learning;Secondly,attach importance to peer support and strengthen the learning atmosphere of the class;Thirdly,pay atte ntion to teachers' guidance and improve students' interest in learning;Finally,strengthen multi-party support to ensure positive recognition of vocational schools.
