High school ideology and politics is a key course in shaping high school students' noble moral character and correct outlook.Due to the influence of traditional teaching philosophy and the pressure of higher education,some teachers still use the traditional indoctrination teaching method in the high school politics class.ignoring students' subjectivity and individual differences.Deficient student participation and emotional experience in the classroom,and insufficient effectiveness of classroom teaching fail to satisfy the current demand of talent training.Therefore,it is a constant exploration for the teachers of politics class to keep the teaching ways to optimization.In the light of students' characteristics and the teaching content and training objectives of high school ideology and politics,this study tries to apply the stepwise teaching method to the teaching of high school ideology and politics,and conducts a teaching experiment in a high school.In this study,changes in students' affective attitudes were observed through the implementation of the teaching experiment and the results of two examinations were collected from the experimental and control classes.At the same time,through the method of questionnaire,this paper investigates the students' sentiment about the implementation of stepwise teaching method and the changes of their learning state.Then,the test scores of the experimental class and the control class and the questionnaire survey data of the experimental class are statistically analyzed with the method of data analysis.Combining the results of classroom observations and data analysis,this study once again verified that the stepwise teaching method is student-centred,focuses on students' individual differences and emotional experiences,helps to promote progressive development of students' learning interests,learning quality and emotional and attitudinal values,and helps to improve the traditional classroom teaching system.At the same time,some problems have emerged during the implementation of this experiment,namely the lack of independent learning ability of a few students,the poor control of the teacher's all-round guidance in classroom teaching,and the inability of students to fully communicate and learn at the end of class.To address these problems,this study attempts to solve them by improving students' independent learning ability,improving teachers' classroom organisation and guidance,and creating an atmosphere for students to work in groups after class.By identifying problems and solving them in the teaching experiment,the study helps to further improve and refine the stepwise teaching method.The implementation of the teaching experiment in the study enriches the teaching cases of the stepwise teaching method and provides a certain reference value for teaching high school ideology and politics.
