With the development of the age of science and technology,the demand for innovative talents is increasing,and the basic education curriculum is also in constant reform.Geography,as a basic subject,has also been innovated in accordance with the needs of The Times.Geography Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 edition,2020 Revision)proposes that senior high school geography curriculum should focus on the diversity and hierarchy of curriculum advocated by quality education,and at the same time,curriculum setting should be selective in order to respect individual differences of students.In June 2019,The General Office of the State Council issued the Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Reform of Education Methods in Ordinary Senior High Schools in the New Era,which pointed out that classroom learning and extra-curricular practice should be coordinated,experimental operations should be strengthened,students' innovative thinking and practical ability should be developed,and evaluation of innovative thinking should be improved.At the same time,strengthen the construction of innovation learning space and maker base.In this context,the integration of hands-on maker culture and education has become a new direction in the development of education,and thus the concept of maker education was born.Shanghai middle school geography curriculum has three types: basic curriculum,extended curriculum and research curriculum,which are consistent with the curriculum concept proposed by the new curriculum standard.In the high school teaching environment where college entrance examination is the most important,it is worthy of research to integrate the maker education concept into the basic education of high school and design the extended curriculum based on this concept,so as to cultivate students' abilities in teamwork,practical innovation and other aspects besides the test-taking ability.Based on the extended curriculum design,under the guidance of "learning by doing" theory,constructivism theory and Ralph Taylor's curriculum theory,this study conducted a research on the extended curriculum design of high school geography based on maker education concept through literature research,case analysis,expert consultation and experience summary.First of all,the research background and the purpose and significance of the research are elaborated from the macro scale.Secondly,the research status of maker education concept and extended curriculum at home and abroad is sorted out according to the theme.It is found that there is less integration of maker education concept and geography discipline,and the design process of extended curriculum needs to be scientifically improved.This paper analyzes the suitability of the maker education concept and the high school geography extension curriculum,expounds the functions of the high school geography extension curriculum under the maker education concept,and puts forward the principles of student-oriented,full cooperation,appropriate resources,open space,discipline integration and work innovation.Planning a guest under the education idea of expanding type geography curriculum design process,the system analysis of high school,curriculum goal,subject content,tool selection,implementation,evaluation system,curriculum design elements such as natural geography textbook and of current xiang version of high school in the thermal circulation and the natural geographical environment of regional differences in two subject curriculum,and the case analysis,at the same time,suggestions on curriculum design are put forward from the two levels of schools and teachers,in order to provide a new direction for the high school geography extension curriculum.
