China’s education is constantly reforming,and quality education has made certain achievements.At present,China is in a new historical orientation,and modern education still needs to go deeper and further strengthen the education and guidance of students in terms of knowledge,ability and emotional values.As an integral part of contemporary education,the importance of mathematics education is reflected in every stage of students’ education.Senior high school is a very important stage of schooling and a decisive journey for most students.The importance of mathematics as one of the major subjects in high school is also very important in the college entrance examination.Therefore,it is necessary to study in depth a special group of high school students who have great difficulty in learning mathematics in their senior year.This paper uses literature,questionnaires,and interviews to study students who have difficulty in mathematics in their senior year,called "Senior three students with mathematics difficulties".The results of the study were obtained by conducting questionnaire surveys on 342 students who had difficulties in mathematics in senior high school and interviewing the most representative 4 students according to the results of the questionnaire surveys.The results of the study showed that:(1)the current situation of mathematics learning of senior mathematics students is not optimistic;(2)the factors that lead to the formation of the current situation of mathematics learning of senior mathematics students can be divided into internal factors and external factors.According to the above research results,the strategies to change the current situation of mathematics learning of senior mathematics students can be divided into internal factors and external factors.Strategies for the transformation of internal factors include:(1)mastering the initiative of learning;(2)scientific approach to mathematics learning;(3)improving core mathematical literacy;(4)attaching importance to basic mathematical knowledge;(5)strengthening willpower and correct learning attitude;(6)learning correct attribution.Strategies for the transformation of external factors include:(1)teachers making corresponding changes;(2)parents making corresponding changes;(3)optimizing the social environment.Based on the transformation strategy,an experimental approach was used to demonstrate the feasibility of the transformation strategy for the current situation of mathematics learning of senior mathematics students in teaching practice.
