Mathematics plays an important part in the study of modern science and technology,which is of great benefit to the development of human society as well as to human life.It not only is helpful to the intelligence development of senior students,but also help them have their own rational thinking.Therefore,it is of great importance for senior high school students to learn Mathematics well.Recently,more and more senior high school students report having trouble in learning Mathematics.It's reported that 30% of students in senior high schools are under the pressure of the study of Mathematics,which not only seriously influences their health and overall development and but also challenges the Mathematics teachers to search for a better way to avoid the problem in teaching practice.Due to various factors both internal and external,the new-comers of senior high schools differ in their grasp of Math.Those who are poor in Math tend to fail to keep the pace with the schedule of the curriculum,leading to their unsatisfying performance and besides,the loss of confidence for further study.Taking all of these into consideration,I conduct this research,on the basis of the approach of previous related studies as well as my teaching experience,to probe the causes of this problem by means of questionnaires and interviews.The data were collected and analyzed.As is shown,the causes can be divided into two categories: internal factors and external factors.Accordingly,I provided the students different with learning strategies with the aim to reduce the number of students with difficulties in the study of Mathematics and to offer some advice on the causes of the difficulties and related transformation methods.It is an exciting finding that most of the students change for the better after receiving the learning strategies offered to them and applying them into practical study.Aside from this,these students change their attitude towards Math,regain study confidence and make some improvement.All of these just indicate that the transformation strategies are of practical use.The study aims at changing the situation,improving students' learning ability,aiding them to regain study confidence,helping them achieve more and thus advancing students overall development.Meanwhile,this study is meant to offer some suggestions for related studies since now and Mathematics teaching practice.The methods employed in this study include documentary method,questionnaires,interviews and experiments.
