Since the 21 st century,scientific education has attached importance to the research of model thinking.As one of the elements of scientific thinking,model construction plays an important role in cultivating students' thinking development and problem solving ability.The standard of physics curriculum in general high school(2017 Edition)points out that the model construction is manifested in the students' awareness and ability to build the model,and puts forward new requirements for the development of students' core literacy.This study mainly discusses the research of the high school students' physical model construction ability evaluation,which aims to provide the direction for the high school students' physical model construction ability training.By using the method of literature research and questionnaire survey,the paper tries to prepare the test paper of the construction ability of the physical model of senior high school students,and verifies the effectiveness of the measurement tools in the evaluation.The whole paper is divided into four partsThe first part mainly combs the theoretical research on the model construction ability at home and abroad,and has a preliminary understanding of the origin and trend of the research from the three aspects of model construction process,capability connotation and capacity structure.Combining with the theory of core literacy evaluation proposed by Yang X,the paper analyzes the connotation and performance characteristics of model construction,and puts forward the evaluation framework of high school students' physical model construction ability from the perspective of constructivism.The second part mainly based on the evaluation framework of model construction ability,combined with the level of model building ability,the paper has compiled the test paper of high school students' physical model construction ability,and made the corresponding scoring standards.The paper makes practical research,analyzes the quality of test volume by winsteps software,revises the test volume and optimizes the measuring tool.After the test,the results were analyzed by winsteps and SPSS 13.0 software,and the following conclusions were obtained(1)The Rasch model is used as the technical support to test the reliability and validity of the measurement tool.The test paper basically only measures one of the potential characteristics of the subjects: the model construction ability.Generally speaking,the quality of the test paper of the physical model construction ability of senior high school students is good.(2)The results show that the overall modeling ability of the tested students is low,and the model construction ability needs to be improved.More than one third of senior high school students are in the third level of physical model construction ability,which indicates that some students have the ability to solve comprehensive model problems in familiar situations.According to the statistics of the score rate of each dimension in different levels of questions,the weak points of the students in the three ability dimensions are obtained.There are differences in the development of modeling dimensions among different levels of students.(3)Gender has little influence on the ability of physical model construction of senior high school students.In general,the average of male students' ability is slightly higher than that of girls,but there is no significant difference in the level of model building ability between senior high school students.There are significant differences in the ability of physical model construction among students with high and low academic achievements.The third part mainly proposes the teaching suggestions to cultivate the ability of physical model construction according to the current situation of the development of the ability,points out the problems and shortcomings in this study,and the future research prospects.
