In the 21 st century,under the background of the rapid development of new media technology,with its unique advantages,new media changes people's reading habits.Meanwhile,with the advent of new media,the relationship between new media and prose reading teaching has become increasingly important.However,there is little research on the relationship between new media and teaching of Chinese prose in junior middle school,it is meaningful to research in this aspect.In consideration of previous research results,this thesis uses the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey,case analysis to study the above problems.Based on the investigation and data analysis of some students and teachers in Xining No.12 Middle School.Therefore,this thesis starts with the status quo of new media in teaching Chinese prose reading,then finds out what problems may occur in the process with the form of questionnaire survey,and proposes corresponding solution strategies after repeated thinking and extensive reading.Finally,discuss how to integrate different prose styles into new media teaching,and makes some own thoughts according to the situation.For the selection of textbook,the main part is Chinese textbook of junior high school.This thesis aims to improve the utilization rate of new media and prose reading teaching,improve students' prose reading skill,and the integration of teachers' new media technology in teaching.
