In 2002,“Literary Masterpieces Guided Reading” was brought in Junior middle school teaching extents.The teaching goal was put forward in “Genuine Compulsory Education Curriculum Standards(2011)” that the students should learn to develop their own reading plan and read all variety of books.Their extracurricular reading amount is not less than 2.6million words.They should read 2 or 3 famous books every academic year.The teaching suggestion was also brought forward in it that the teacher should cultivate the students interests in extensive reading,enlarge their reading varieties,increase their reading amount and improve their reading tastes.It calls for less tests more readings,reading good books,preferring reading,reading good books and reading the entire book.In real life,however,“Literary Masterpieces Guided Reading” was sloppily treated.Based on the comprehensive and in-depth understanding of teaching objective,the research aims at how to master the teaching rules of “Literary Masterpieces Guided Reading”;how to get the teaching contents and methods of “Literary Masterpieces Guided Reading”.Through literature research survey method,and combining the teaching experience and cases,This research would put forward feasible countermeasures and Suggestions on “Literary Masterpieces Guided Reading” teaching.The body of the thesis consists of three chapters:The first chapter: It clarifies the concept of “Literary Masterpieces”and “Literary Masterpieces Guided Reading”;analyzes the basic characteristics of the teaching of “Literary Masterpieces Guided Reading”;sorts out related theories in the teaching of “Literary Masterpieces Guided Reading”.The second chapter: From the angle of teachers and students,it investigates the basic status of the teaching of “Literary Masterpieces Guided Reading” and gives an accurate diagnosis of the problems.The third chapter: According to the problems showed in the investigation,it puts forward countermeasures from the aspects of teachers' teaching,students' learning students' testing,teachers' mentoring and so on.The research suggests that the teachers play a leading role in the teaching of “Literary Masterpieces Guided Reading”,and they are the key role in the connection of students and parents.The teachers should explore the methods in the using of the textbooks creatively,selecting the teaching material carefully,the innovating of a variety of teaching modes,clarifying the goal of the text,and enriching the forms of the tests.They should enhance their own reading quality.And they ought to put the teaching of “Literary Masterpieces Guided Reading” into place through creating a better reading environment by means of closing home-school liaison.
