The Chinese Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2011 edition)clearly states "to cultivate students' extensive reading interest,expand reading area,increase reading quantity and improve reading taste.".To promote the effective implementation of the Chinese curriculum standards,the author of this paper proposes that we should do less problem-solving,read more books,read well,read well and read whole books,"The textbook edited by the ministry " Junior High School Language Teaching Materials "the guided reading of Chinese literary masterpieces " section will guide the course into the teaching plan,in the language course in a very important position.However,teachers are faced with many new problems and challenges in the teaching process,and the teaching of "the guided reading of Chinese literary masterpieces" needs to be innovated urgently.In view of this situation,"the whole book reading" provides a good opportunity for the teaching reform of "the guided reading of Chinese literary masterpieces ".Therefore,how to make use of the teaching concept of "whole book reading",and finally enable students to enjoy the work in a short 40-minute class,to be willing to read the whole book,and then to master the skills of reading such works,the focus of this paper is to achieve autonomous reading.This paper summarizes the current situation of the teaching of "the guided reading of Chinese literary masterpieces " and the research of "whole book reading" in junior middle school by consulting relevant literature,and expounds the concepts and concepts of "whole book reading" And "the guided reading of Chinese literary masterpieces ",thus for the "whole book reading" Teaching Philosophy into the " The guided reading of Chinese literary masterpieces " teaching to provide theoretical support.This paper summarizes the advantages of "whole book reading" in the process of combing the relationship between "whole book reading" and "well-known books guide reading",so as to ensure the feasibility of " the guided reading of Chinese literary masterpieces " teaching under the background of "whole book reading".In order to understand the current situation of famous books teaching in schools by "reading the whole book",the author makes an investigation and analysis from the two aspects of students and teachers by means of a questionnaire,thus finding out a series of problems and investigating their causes,it mainly includes the random teaching,the lack of attention to "whole book reading",the Fragmented Network reading and the utilitarian reading of famous books under the examination-oriented education.Therefore,if we want to change the present situation of students' reading famous works and increase the function of "whole book reading" in Chinese class,we need to put forward corresponding improving strategies according to the teaching idea of "whole book reading",teaching students to think about the whole book in the process of reading,we should not only let students "read in",but also let students "read out",try to optimize and improve the teaching effect of " the guided reading of Chinese literary masterpieces",to provide guidance for front-line teachers in the teaching of " the guided reading of Chinese literary masterpieces".
