Causal thinking is a way of thinking to explore the relationship between cause and result.The close relationship between cause and result can make the argumentative paper more distinctive,clearer logic,more powerful argument and more careful thinking.Just because causal thinking helps to see the essence through the phenomenon and build the thinking structure of writing,it is the basic thinking mode of argumentative paper.Argumentative papers are mainly aimed at expressing the author's point of view,which requires the author to sort out the causal relationship between arguments and arguments.The accurate use of causal thinking in argumentative writing can make the views expressed by the author more persuasive,more acceptable,and enhance the logicality and organization of the writing.This paper is divided into four parts.The introduction introduces the theoretical and practical significance,research background and current situation analysis of causal thinking.The first chapter discusses the problems existing in the teaching of argumentative writing in junior middle school and the application of causal thinking in writing from the perspectives of teachers and students.The second chapter analyzes the reasons for the problems existing in argumentative writing and causal thinking training in Teaching:teachers fail to realize that the core of argumentative writing is causal thinking;Students fail to use causal thinking to examine questions;Students lack causal analysis of the internal relationship between material and theme;Students fail to use causal thinking to clarify their views.The third chapter puts forward four strategies to Cultivate Junior Middle School Students' causal thinking ability in Argumentative Writing:teachers should make it clear that causal thinking is the bottom logic of argumentative writing;Train students' ability to use causal thinking for intention;Guide students to think deeply about the causal relationship between material and theme;Lead students to explore the essential relationship between cause and effect.
