All kinds of emotions enrich our life.Emotion permeates all aspects of our life and is the link between contacts and people.Our words and deeds contain emotional elements,either in our daily speech,or in our eyes,or in our actions and body manners.In interpersonal communication,we perceive emotional changes by capturing other people’s faces and manners.In the process of continuous emotional experience,let us generate behavioral motivation,so as to dominate our cognition and action.For junior middle school students in their youth,facing the new environment and new interpersonal communication,they are prone to emotional problems.If they are not handled properly,they will lose control of their emotions,collapse their emotions,and even have many complex negative emotions.Teenagers are the future and hope of the motherland and shoulder the important task of national construction.Strengthening emotional education is of great significance to teenagers’ physical and mental health.In school education,‘morality and rule of law’ is the main way to carry out emotional education.Therefore,from the perspective of emotional education in the course of morality and rule of law in junior middle school,this paper further discusses the emotional education of junior middle school students.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is an overview of the theory of emotional education,which expounds what is emotion,its cognitive history and function,as well as the connotation,theoretical basis,context and function of emotional education,and then puts forward the necessity of integrating emotional education into the course of morality and rule of law in junior middle school through the mastery and analysis of relevant theories.The second part is the investigation of junior middle school students’ emotional cognition and the current situation of emotional education in morality and the rule of law.This paper mainly expounds the specific contents of the questionnaire,and analyzes the data results.The third part puts forward the problems and reasons of emotional education in morality and the rule of law based on the questionnaire survey of students and the interview of teachers.At the present stage,there is a great gap between the content of emotional education and the actual needs of students in the course of morality and rule of law in junior middle school;Teachers’ efforts to excavate emotional education resources and theoretical research are not enough;Emotional education is not deep enough.The reason is that the content of the textbook is simple and general,lacking systematicness and scientificity;Teachers’ professional quality is not high;There is little communication between teachers and students and lack of awareness of cultivation.The fourth part focuses on the ways and methods of optimizing emotional education in the course of morality and rule of law.That is,teachers should fully tap the emotional education resources in teaching materials,improve their emotional education cognition,build a good relationship between teachers and students,and actively optimize teaching methods.Finally,in order to better reflect the content of emotional education,the author takes the course ‘unveiling the veil of emotion’ as an example to make a learning guidance plan and teaching design.
