Since its introduction,the core quality of art has attracted widespread attention,and art teachers have gradually paid attention to cultivating students' core quality of art in art classrooms.Calligraphy appreciation courses,as an important part of art courses,should cultivating students' cultural understanding throughout.Cultivating students' cultural understanding literacy of art works from a cultural perspective is one of the core qualities closely related to calligraphy appreciation courses.We should study it in depth and explore the paths and strategies for cultivating cultural understanding literacy.This article consists of five parts.The first part mainly includes the connotation of cultural understanding literacy,an overview of high school calligraphy appreciation courses,and the significance of the development of cultural understanding literacy in high school calligraphy appreciation courses.The second part is to investigate and study the current situation of high school calligraphy appreciation courses in Baota District,Yan'an City,and analyses the problems existing in the existing calligraphy appreciation courses.The third part puts forward effective strategies in the calligraphy appreciation classroom according to the current situation survey results,namely,creating problem situations,interdisciplinary teaching and diversifying appreciation methods.The fourth part first sorts out teaching resources,sorting out the background of the times in Orchid Pavilion Preface to calligraphy culture in later generations,paving the way for specific teaching practises in the future.The second is the teaching practice of "Exploring the Orchid Pavilion Preface",which is divided into two hours: "First Understanding " Orchid Pavilion Preface " and " In-depth "Orchid Pavilion Preface",which mainly expounds the teaching objectives,teaching content,teaching design,teaching process,teaching reflection and teaching effect.In the calligraphy appreciation course,while cultivating students' ability to appreciate calligraphy works,guiding students to love and inherit China's excellent traditional calligraphy culture requires high school art teachers to constantly study and innovate teaching strategies and enrich calligraphy appreciation teaching research..
