New Curriculum Standard Chinese for Senior High School is one of the representative Chinese textbooks for senior high schools in the Republic of China,edited by Du Tianyi and Han Chu Yuan,and published by Shanghai World Publishing House in August,1933.This textbook consists of six volumes,edited in strict accordance with the Chinese Curriculum Standards for Senior Middle Schools promulgated by the Ministry of Education in 1932,and approved by the National Government.It is specially used for Chinese teaching in senior middle schools,with the help of Annotations for Senior High Schools compiled by Du Tianyi,Han Chuyuan and Shen Bojing.This paper is divided into five parts,taking the selection of classical Chinese in New Curriculum Standard Chinese for Senior High School as the research object.The first chapter analyzes the background of the compilation of Chinese for Senior High School,and points out the influence of the social and cultural atmosphere,curriculum standards,the cultural position of the World Publishing House and the editor's own cultural position on the selection of classical Chinese in this textbook.The second chapter,from the angle of classical Chinese text selection,summarizes the characteristics of classical Chinese text selection by analyzing the quantity,author,content and theme of classical Chinese text selection,that is,a large number of classical Chinese text selections,a wide distribution of writers,a long time span,rich subject matter and so on.The third chapter focuses on the analysis of the arrangement characteristics of classical Chinese texts,including the arrangement of its text selection system and the arrangement of reading aid system.Through combing and statistics,the advantages and disadvantages of the textbook arrangement are obtained.The fourth chapter analyzes the characteristics of classical Chinese text selection in the current "unified edition" senior high school Chinese textbooks in all provinces,compares this textbook,and obtains the enlightenment of "New Curriculum Standard Chinese for Senior High School" on the selection of classical Chinese text in current senior high school Chinese textbooks.In the process of discussion,based on the original text of the textbook,the author made a lot of statistics on the selected texts of classical Chinese,processed them into charts and cited them,highlighted the features and arrangement features of the selected texts of classical Chinese,and drew its advantages and disadvantages,so as to provide reference for the future selection of classical Chinese textbooks.
