The concept of human-earth coordination is an important part of the core literacy of geography.Since 2001,when the Outline of Basic Education Curriculum Reform(for Trial Implementation)proposed the implementation of three-tier curriculum management,many local education administrations have begun to organize experts and scholars to develop local curricula and local teaching materials.Through flexible and diverse local ecological and environmental education courses with strong local characteristics,students can enhance their enthusiasm for protecting their home environment,correctly perceive the relationship between people and land,and effectively cultivate a harmonious view of people and land among secondary school students.Using research methods such as literature analysis,case analysis,fieldwork,and action research,this paper analyzes the interface between the curriculum and textbook,the knowledge structure and activity design of the teaching materials of "Inner Mongolia Ecological and Environmental Education" based on the human-earth coordination view cultivated under the guidance of constructivist theory,humanistic theory,and human-earth relationship theory,summarizes the characteristics of the teaching materials and proposes revisions.Ten excellent cases of ecoenvironmental education activities,including five domestic cases and five foreign cases,were screened and analyzed to draw inspiration,and four cases of eco-environmental education activities were designed and one of the activity cases was implemented.It aims to provide pedagogical references for front-line teachers in the cultivation of human-earth harmony concept for secondary school students,provide basic information for the revision of local teaching materials,and enrich the research on the analysis of local teaching materials.In summary,this paper draws the following main conclusions from the study:First,the textbook is characterized by its strong local features,rich content of the concept of human-earth harmony,and various inquiry activities that are conducive to cultivating students' ability to discover and solve problems.The main suggestions for revision are: the selection of textbook content should be in line with the cognitive development level of secondary school students,more inquiry activities should be provided to facilitate students' participation in practice,more rich and novel activities should be designed for students to choose,and the selection of teaching content should take into account the needs of the times.Secondly,through analyzing 10 domestic and international ecological and environmental education cases,and combining with related theories and policies,we concluded that the design of ecological and environmental education activities in junior high schools should follow the principles of education,inquiry,fun and participation.Thirdly,we designed four components of the activity cases: green navigation,inquiry and practice,learning and understanding,and extended action,and designed "Beautiful Grassland My Home","Cradle of Life","Visiting Nature Reserves ","I am an actor in beautiful Inner Mongolia".Fourth,according to the implementation of the case,the basic process of case implementation is summarized and insights are drawn after implementation.
