Geographical survey is an important research method in the discipline of geography,and it is also the main form of geographical practice activities at the high school level,which has an irreplaceable role in cultivating the geographical practice ability of high school students.As an important starting point between teachers and students' geography teaching activities,geography textbooks provide a scientific basis and a source for topic selection for the development of geographical survey activities.Therefore,combing and comparing the geographical survey activities in different versions of textbooks can combine the two,which not only helps to play the guiding role of the textbook,but also scientifically cultivates students' geographical practice ability in the development of survey activities.This paper is based on the geographical survey activities in the newly promulgated renjiao edition,Xiangjiao edition,Zhongtu edition,Lujiao edition and Shanghai edition of the five editions of textbooks(including a total of 20 volumes of compulsory parts and selective compulsory parts),taking the characteristics and teaching strategies of geographical survey activities in the five editions of the new high school geography textbooks as the research content,using comparative analysis,questionnaire surveys,summary induction,case analysis and other research methods to conduct a questionnaire survey on the current situation of secondary school geography teachers' survey activities and analyze,design and implement relevant cases.The research conclusions of this paper mainly have the following aspects.First,the geographical survey activities in the five editions of the textbook are compared and analyzed from the perspectives of form and content,and four common characteristics of their typical survey activities are obtained: the survey theme is clear and the subjectivity of students is emphasized;the steps of the geographical survey activities are relatively clear;from the perspective of the scale of activities,the geographical survey activities in a small area are the mainstay;and the emphasis is on the combination with rural land resources.The four teaching enlightenments of the investigation activities in the textbook are extracted: problem introduction and thinking,giving plans and clarifying steps,group cooperation,group investigation,thinking visualization,and achievement exchange.Second,the teaching strategy of high school geographic survey activities proposed in this paper includes the following five aspects: drawing on the reference multi-version textbook to carry out survey activities and give full play to their respective advantages;program design pays attention to the academic situation and highlights the status of students;multi-party coordination of activities and good guarantee work;layout of task chains,ability and emotional benign drive;leading students to review the process and summarize and master the method in a timely manner.Third,after analyzing the case design literature of 10 survey activities,four typical survey activities were designed,including the population migration survey;the survey of secondary school students' resources and environmental safety awareness;the survey of environmental issues;and the survey of campus vegetation.Two cases,the Population Migration Survey and the Survey of Resources and Environmental Safety Awareness of Secondary School Students,were also implemented.
