As a hot spot of basic education research in China,subject core literacy not only guides the direction of subject teaching,but also promotes the development of basic education in China.In primary school,"number and algebra" teaching is the main part of mathematics teaching,which is conducive to primary school students forming a more abundant core literacy of mathematics.This study is based on the basis of the primary school mathematics core literacy,from the sense of number,computing ability,model,reasoning ability,using the literature research,questionnaire,interview and classroom observation research,in-depth analysis of fifth grade "number and algebra" teaching problems and causes,and put forward the strong operational solutions.The paper mainly includes five parts: introduction,based on the primary school mathematics core literacy fifth grade "number and algebra" teaching problems and countermeasures research basis,based on the primary school mathematics core literacy fifth grade "number and algebra" teaching status survey,based on the primary school mathematics core literacy "number and algebra" teaching problems and reason analysis,solution on the teaching problem of "number and algebra" based on the core quality of primary school mathematics.Through the investigation and analysis found that the fifth grade pupils in the "number and algebra" learning estimation ability is not strong,operation is relatively rigid,mathematical model application ability is weak,lack of independent reasoning ability,and from the perspective of the above problems is the lack of intuitive,in computing teaching teachers failed to fully understand students 'understanding,teachers cultivate students' model application ability,teachers guide students in the reasoning teaching.Based on Freidenthal mathematics education theory and constructivism learning theory,the paper is designed to improve students 'estimation ability,pay full attention to students' understanding degree,guide students to reflect on the basic model,improve students 'model application ability,grasp the proper guidance degree,and improve students' independent reasoning ability.In short,to solve the problems existing in the teaching of "number and algebra" in the fifth grade requires teachers to improve their teaching methods.It is expected that more problems existing in "number and algebra" teaching will be solved and help students form the core literacy of primary school mathematics.
