The development and promotion of thinking is an important part of Chinese subject literacy and an important dimension of students' intellectual development.The cultivation of image thinking is an important content of thinking development and promotion,which has an important impact on the development of students' overall literacy,Chinese teaching should be committed to promoting the development of students' image thinking.Poetry,as the necessary content of junior middle school Chinese teaching materials,provides rich materials for the development of junior middle school students' image thinking.According to the situation of poetry selection in the unified edition of junior middle school Chinese textbooks and considering the stylistic characteristics of poetry,the poetry studied in this paper includes classical poetry and modern and contemporary poetry in the textbook selection,and classical poetry also covers poetry,words and songs in the textbook selection.Based on this,this study starts from the Chinese subject literacy of junior middle school students,takes poetry teaching as the carrier,and uses research methods such as investigation and research method,case analysis method and classroom observation method to explore how to Cultivate Junior Middle School Students' image thinking in poetry teaching.In this study,image thinking is defined as the thinking activity and thinking mode that uses perception to obtain the information of objective things and store it in the brain to form an image,processes and transforms the image by means of association and imagination,and constructs a new image,so as to reflect the essence and characteristics of objective things.The image thinking of junior middle school students has the characteristics of richer representation,more flexible association,novel imagination and profound emotion.In the investigation,it is found that junior middle school Chinese teachers do not have a clear understanding of students' thinking characteristics,do not have enough understanding of cultivating junior middle school students' image thinking in poetry teaching,do not have a deep understanding of the contents and Strategies of cultivating junior middle school students' image thinking,and do not pay attention to poetry creation and autonomous learning;Junior middle school students do not pay attention to the development of image thinking in poetry learning,the image reserve is not rich and systematic,the association is lack of flexibility,the imagination is lack of creativity,and the emotional experience is lack of profundity.This leads to the separation of knowledge learning and thinking training,poetry appreciation and associative imagination,theme analysis and artistic conception,Poetry Interpretation and emotional understanding.This study believes that the current situation in poetry teaching is caused by the influence of exam oriented education,the lack of image thinking theory,the insufficient cognition of poetry characteristics and the improper interpretation of poetry.In order to effectively improve the efficiency of cultivating image thinking in poetry teaching,this study puts forward the teaching contents of the analysis of poetry image and artistic conception,the appreciation of poetry artistic techniques,the excavation of poetry tacit knowledge,the design of poetry dependent training questions,and the expansion and extension of extracurricular poetry.This study also proposes to explore multiple paths to enrich students' image reserves;Using comparative transfer to improve students' association ability;Create teaching situation and expand students' imagination space;Explore the teaching strategy of special subject teaching and deepen students' emotional experience.This study holds that when cultivating image thinking in poetry teaching,Chinese teachers should pay attention to timely adjusting teaching contents and teaching strategies for students of different grades in junior middle school,and grasp the recent development area of students' image thinking.We should also pay attention to coordinating the development of all aspects of literacy and constructing the system of students' overall literacy development.
