With the gradual deepening of school physical education,the professional quality development of school physical education teachers needs to be further improved.Physical education teachers need to have comprehensive teaching skills and subject knowledge to meet the development needs of physical education teaching.In this case,it is very important to improve the professional quality of physical education teachers.This paper takes the professional quality of physical education teachers in the compulsory education stage of Xianyang City as the research object,deeply analyzes the concept of the professional quality of physical education teachers,and establishes a specific and operable index system of the professional quality of physical education teachers in the compulsory education stage of Xianyang City,including four first-class indicators and nineteen second-class indicators and AHP.On the basis of the specific operable index system of the professional quality of physical education teachers in the compulsory education stage of Xianyang City,this paper compiled a questionnaire on the current situation of the professional quality of physical education teachers in the compulsory education stage of Xianyang City,investigated the current situation of the professional quality of Physical Education Teachers in the urban and rural compulsory education stage of Xianyang city through the questionnaire survey method,analyzed the problems existing in the professional quality of physical education teachers in the urban and rural areas of Xianyang City,and put forward corresponding suggestions.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Through the analysis of the basic situation of physical education teachers in urban and rural compulsory education stage in Xianyang City,it is concluded that the gender ratio of physical education teachers in urban and rural areas in Xianyang city is unbalanced,and male physical education teachers are in the majority;Urban PE teachers are better than rural PE teachers in terms of academic qualifications and professional titles.(2)The physical education teachers in the rural compulsory education stage in Xianyang city still have a large space for development in physical education teaching literacy,teachers' ethics literacy,knowledge literacy and self-development literacy.(3)This paper puts forward some targeted suggestions on the development of PE Teachers' professional quality in the stage of rural compulsory education in Xianyang city.It mainly includes: in terms of physical education teaching quality,we should change the training methods of physical education teachers in rural areas and strengthen the training;Expand the "special post plan" in rural areas;Open physical education classes to enrich the teaching practice experience of rural physical education teachers.In terms of teachers' ethics and quality,we should improve the status of physical education curriculum and the professional identity of physical education teachers in rural areas;At the level of self-development literacy,we should establish the exchange and cooperation mechanism between urban and rural physical education teachers in Xianyang city;To establish a scientific reward mechanism for PE Teachers' independent development;Improve the professional title assessment standards for rural physical education teachers.
