Under the background that socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,the modernization of social governance urgently requires the majority of citizens to participate in the governance of political,economic and social public affairs in an orderly manner in accordance with the law.Therefore,the importance of cultivating citizens' public participation quality is becoming more and more important.highlight.As an important carrier for the cultivation of students' public participation literacy,high school ideological and political courses revolve around the basic viewpoints of Marxism and the main line of their sinicization achievements,aiming to train students to become modern citizens with correct political orientation and good core literacy of ideological and political disciplines.The core qualities of high school ideological and political subjects include: political identity,scientific spirit,awareness of the rule of law,and public participation.The four together constitute a complementary and indispensable whole,and the cultivation of the first three will ultimately be based on the practice of "public participation".However,in the current practice of participating in social and public affairs,high school students in my country have exposed problems such as weak subject consciousness,lack of participation knowledge,weak participation ability,and mixed public morality and private interests.In the face of these new challenges,ideological and political teachers,as the leaders in the cultivation of high school students' public participation quality,should first find the reasons for themselves in the teaching process,and overcome the traditional teaching concepts inherent in ideological and political courses under the traditional teaching model.The teaching content needs to be enriched,the teaching method lacks experience,and the teaching evaluation is relatively one-sided.It is necessary to change the teaching concept to enhance students' awareness of participation;to enrich teaching content and expand students' knowledge of participation;to innovate teaching methods to enhance students' ability to participate;to improve teaching evaluation and to nourish students' morality of participation.Through multi-channel progress and targeted efforts,we can effectively improve the public participation quality of high school students.
