| The situational teaching method is to enhance students’ interest in learning and stimulate students to actively participate in the learning of sports knowledge and skills by creating different teaching situations such as relevant problem scenarios,game scenarios,and cooperation scenarios in the process of primary school physical education.This study uses the situational teaching method and the conventional teaching method to carry out teaching practice in the basketball classroom,aiming to verify the influence of the situational teaching method in the elementary school basketball teaching,and to provide relevant practical basis for effectively improving the elementary school basketball teaching effect.In this study,60 fourth-grade students from Baoshan Experimental School of East China Normal University were randomly selected as experimental subjects through literature survey,questionnaire survey,experiment and mathematical statistics.The control class and experimental class respectively used conventional teaching method and situational teaching method to conduct a 16-week basketball classroom teaching experiment.Before and after the experiment,the students’ learning interest level,basketball skills and physical fitness level were compared and analyzed.The experimental results showed that:1.The application of situational teaching method in basketball classroom teaching in primary schools found that students’ interest in sports learning has been significantly improved.The overall level of interest,autonomous learning ability and sports participation of students in the experimental class were higher than those in the control class.2.After the experiment,the overall level of PE learning interest in the experimental class improved more than that of the control class;Although the overall level of students’ interest in sports learning is slightly improved after learning regular sports basketball courses,there is no significant difference before and after the experiment.3.Using situational teaching method in basketball classroom teaching in primary schools,it is found that the skill level of the experimental class is higher than that of the control group,and there is a significant difference between the two groups.The application of situational teaching method in basketball classroom teaching is beneficial to the students’ mastery and application of basketball skills.4.The application of situational teaching method in basketball classroom teaching of primary school has a good promotion effect on improving students’ physical level of 50-meter running,one-minute rope skipping and standing long jump.The experiment shows that: in primary school basketball classroom teaching,situational teaching method is more effective than conventional teaching method in stimulating students’ interest in learning,helping to improve students’ initiative and participation in learning,thus improving the classroom teaching effect,and to a certain extent can also improve the physical development. |
