Nowadays,driven by the momentum of information technology innovation(such as 5G,IOT,Cloud Computing,Block Chain,etc.),the amount of information and data has soared worldwide.With the digitization of all aspects in life,information literacy is very important for society and individuals.Society requires people with high information literacy to serve it,and individuals also need it to adapt to social development.Primary and secondary school students acquire and process a large amount of information during their learning,life,growth,entertainment,and etc.Therefore,in the environment of intensified informatization,information literacy is vital for both society and students.It is necessary for students to be equipped with information literacy for the adaption to society,collection and procession of information,and reasonable decision making.Thus,they will be able to pursue lifelong learning and sustainable development.Firstly,through the review and analysis of relevant documents,this paper sorts out and summarizes the current situation of information literacy evaluation of primary and secondary school students,finds out the problems existing in the current analysis and research of students' information literacy,and puts forward the research methods of information literacy evaluation and subsequent implementation schemes.Secondly,based on the definition of concepts and related construction principles,the indicators at all levels of the contextualized assessment system for information literacy of primary and secondary school students are constructed,and through multiple rounds of improvement and revision,the four first-level indicators(information awareness,basic skills,information application innovation,and digital citizenship)are finally determined,as well as 9 secondary evaluation indicators and 28 tertiary evaluation indicators.After the evaluation system is established,all weight coefficients in evaluation system are set and their consistencies are verified by analytic hierarchy process.Then,the research elaborates the research design of the information literacy assessment tool for primary and secondary school students,analyzes the design ideas,specific preparation and design points of the assessment test questions,and develops the corresponding self-report questionnaire.Finally,through the application and practice of the assessment tools,the analysis of the questionnaire data and the test question data,as well as the interviews with the relevant teachers and students participating in the practice assessment,the effectiveness of the information literacy assessment system and tools for primary and secondary school students is preliminarily verified.The research results show that: the research has verified the effectiveness of the system and assessment tools through questionnaires and assessment questions,enriched the research on information literacy assessment,and provided new directions and ideas for information literacy assessment.The results show that the students who participated in the survey and experienced the assessment performed more prominently in the dimension of digital citizenship,while their performance in basic skills,information application innovation and information awareness declines sequentially.The evaluation system and evaluation tools reflect the information literacy level of students participating in the survey,and provide direct support for timely intervention.
