Under the background of national curriculum reform and the promotion of traditional culture,music curriculum in vocational education stage needs to undertake the responsibility of inheriting and promoting local music culture.As the carrier of school-based music curriculum,local music school-based textbooks should be full of strong local ethnic culture and give students the opportunity to absorb the essence culture in the process of learning,so that the excellent ethnic culture can be passed down from generation to generation.Therefore,music education should pay attention to local music culture,inherit local culture in teaching,and make students feel the cultural charm brought by local music in a relaxed and pleasant classroom atmosphere.Therefore,it is the responsibility and mission of our front-line educators to inherit local culture in school-based music teaching materials.Taking the development of school-based music teaching materials in Higher Vocational Colleges as the starting point,this paper first briefly introduces vocational school education and its curriculum characteristics,and then distinguishes the concept of school-based curriculum and school-based teaching material;then it focuses on the basic theory of school-based music textbook development,which lays a theoretical foundation for the follow-up research.In order to further understand the current use of school-based music teaching materials in vocational schools,this paper also makes a case study of Huayuan vocational school from the perspective of teaching application effect.Case study is mainly carried out from three aspects: students,teachers and teaching evaluation.The results show that the music school-based teaching materials used in Huayuan vocational high school have played a positive role in the construction of school characteristic culture,the development of teachers' professional skills and the growth of students' music learning.But at the same time,there are some deficiencies in the structure and content of the textbook.For example,some music scores in the textbook text have errors in the corresponding lyrics and melody.In addition,in the aspect of effect evaluation,experts believe that there are two main problems:Firstly,there are some mistakes in the section setting and note arrangement of the songs in the music score examples;secondly,the knowledge structure of the teaching material is slightly unbalanced.In order to improve the local music school-based teaching materials in Huayuan vocational school,this paper,on the premise of making clear the development principles of school-based teaching materials,puts forward teaching material development strategies from three aspects: optimizing the content of teaching materials,optimizing the structure of teaching materials and improving the evaluation system of teaching materials.
