The proportion of red culture selections of elementary school Chinese compiled by the Ministry of Education increased by 2.08% compared by PEP edition.Whereas,the teaching content is obviously changed the relevant studies on teaching are few.The red culture in elementary school Chinese textbook is to inherit red gene and “exemplar” of red education.However,how to utilize red culture selections to shape favorable atmosphere of study and guide students to make sense red spirit are difficulty for many first-tier teachers.This study aims at discovering practical issues in teaching selections with red culture through questionnaire and several survey results,so as to propose available suggestions.This paper is consisted of four parts:The first part expounded topic background from following aspects.At first,teaching red culture is the practical need for Party and nation to carry out educational policy,and essential requirement of radical task of implementing “strengthening moral education and cultivating people” in the new era.secondly,elementary school Chinese textbook compiled by the Ministry of Education is a vital carrier of inheriting red culture;thirdly,studies in elementary school are the key period of professing students moral education.In addition,it defined current status of studies and development trend on this field at home and abroad and determined research ideas and method by means of compiling studies on layout of selections with red culture of elementary school Chinese textbooks in domestic,current status of teaching,teaching strategy and national value orientation embodied in foreign textbooks.The second part analyzed quantity,type and compiling conception,feature and value of selections with red culture of elementary school Chinese textbooks compiled by the Ministry of Education.The third part adopted questionnaire and individual interview to conduct survey,research and design,grasped teaching status of selections with red culture.Additionally,it analyzed four major issues in teaching selections with red culture at current elementary school teaching:nonfluency juncture between pragmatic goal and humanitarian target,insufficient evacuation of teaching content and expansion,lack in flexibility and innovation of teaching method and rare evaluation on students as entity and growth evaluation.The fourth part proposed strategy on improving teaching elementary school selections with red culture,specifically,the convergence and juncture between various teaching targets should be facilitated,depth and width of teaching content elevated,experienced diverse teaching employed and teaching evaluation diversified.On the basis of the above analysis to teaching content of selection with red culture,survey on teaching status and exploration on improvement strategy,it hopes to provide experience and reference for teaching elections with red culture of elementary school Chinese compiled by the Ministry of Education,proffer idea on studying this field in the future,so as to further improving teaching effect of elections with red culture of elementary school Chinese compiled by the Ministry of Education.
