"White space" art originally refers to the creative skills used to improve the artistry of works in the process of artistic creation.Traces of "white space" art can be found in literature,architecture,painting and many other fields.Excellent works of art always leave "blank",so that readers can feel the unique meaning when appreciating and savoring,and achieve the aesthetic realm of "full of words and infinite meaning".The art of "blank space" has two meanings in reading teaching.First,as a verb,it refers to the flexible design of blank space in Chinese reading teaching and creative teaching practice activities in accordance with the rules of teaching and beauty.It is an innovative teaching art.Second,as a noun,it can be understood as "implication" and "blank spot",which refers to the blank space in the text left by the writer intentionally or unintentionally.This study focuses on "blank space" art and reading teaching,and actively explores the reasonable path and effective strategy of "blank space" art applied to Chinese reading teaching in junior middle school,in order to further improve the efficiency of reading teaching.First of all,this research starting from the connotation of "white space" art,this paper discusses the theoretical source and development of the "white space" art,"stay white" art in Chinese reading teaching and the dual meanings of "white space" art in junior middle school reading teaching theory foundation,analyzed the "stay white" art and the current situation of reading teaching and the feasibility of its use in the Chinese reading teaching.The clear concept laid the foundation and clarified the direction for the specific application strategy of "white space" art.Secondly,in the form of questionnaire,this study investigated the current situation of reading teaching and the application of "blank" art,summarized and analyzed the survey data,and found the current problems in Chinese reading teaching in junior middle school.The clarity of these problems also pointed out the direction of this study.Finally,on the basis of comprehensive analysis of current status of reading teaching,combined with the related teaching theory,put forward the "white space" in the text,mining,the reasonable design of classroom teaching of "space" two aspects of the application of the strategy,and puts forward "stay white" class specific operation strategy and establish the students' consciousness of white space,migration using relevant strategy.To better clear "stay white" the application of art in junior middle school reading teaching effect,to complement and perfection,the proposed strategy after strategy is put forward,this study made a corresponding classroom teaching practice and reflection on work,according to the strategy and practice the application of feedback,put forward the "stay white" art applied in the reading teaching principle.
