Ye Shengtao's Idea Of "Reading The Whole Book" On The Old Man And The Sea Enlightenment Of Teaching

With the deepening of Chinese education and teaching reform,the value of the whole book reading teaching is gradually highlighted.And from the part of the high school textbooks,the whole book of education and teaching courses have been through the compulsory courses,selective compulsory courses and elective courses three levels.It can be seen that the country has put forward higher requirements for the education and teaching of the whole book reading.But from the present point of view,there are still some deficiencies in the whole book reading teaching of Chinese in senior high school.Therefore,how to improve students' reading level and ability has become one of the important tasks of current education and teaching.Based on this,this paper tries to apply Ye Shengtao's idea of "reading the whole book" to the teaching of "The Old Man and the Sea" in order to improve the teaching level and ability of reading the whole book.This paper adopts the form of questionnaire survey and teacher interview to investigate the current situation of Chinese whole book reading education and teaching in senior high school,and summarizes the problems existing in the current Chinese whole book reading education and teaching in senior high school in four aspects,namely,lack of interest in reading,lack of initiative;Reading efficiency is not high,lack of guidance;Reading text is not deep,lack of integrity;Reading expansion is not strong,lack of efficiency.To solve above problems,combining with ye shengtao "read the whole book" of the idea about the content,namely cultivating students consciously the habit of reading,attention to the cultivation of the overall thinking,training initiative investigation skills,master the reading method of skimming,this paper puts forward "the old man and the sea" teaching strategy of the whole book,which arouse interest in reading,develop reading habits;Strengthen the overall thinking,improve reading efficiency;Strengthen the independent ability,deepen the text reading;Master skimming methods and actively guide expansion.
