| Reading is of great significance to the development of one’s life.The whole book reading plays an important role in developing good reading habits,improving students’ thinking ability and cultivating students’ reading patience.Since the new curriculum standard of soliloquy literature proposed "whole book reading","whole book reading teaching" has become a hot topic in the field of Chinese education.Many front-line Chinese teachers are exploring a new way of whole-book reading teaching in order to achieve the goal of Chinese curriculum.However,due to various practical reasons,it has become a big problem for students to read the whole book and teachers to carry out the whole book reading teaching.This paper introduces the "literary circle" model,which has been quite mature since the 1980 s,as a new teaching method and applies it to the whole book reading teaching.Its essence is to use cooperative learning to make up for the shortcomings of the whole book reading teaching to solve the problems existing in the traditional whole book reading teaching.This kind of open whole book reading teaching activity integrates democracy and pluralism,which has a positive influence on stimulating students’ interest in reading the whole book,cultivating students’ reading habit and helping students become lifelong readers.The paper is divided into five parts: The first part is the introduction,expounds the research background,research purpose,research significance and research methods,and carries on the literature review;The second part is the definition of the core concepts and the theoretical basis,demonstrating the feasibility of the "literary circle" model applied to the whole book reading teaching;The third part,based on the current situation of reading and teaching the whole book in junior middle school,analyzes the causes of the problem from many aspects.The fourth part illustrates how the "literary circle" model should be applied to the whole book reading teaching,and how to promote the specific steps;The fifth part takes "Camel Xiangzi" in junior high school as an example to design a case about the application of "literature circle" mode in reading teaching of the whole book. |
