In the context of knowledge-based economy,the country and the nation need innovative talents.As an important social humanities subject,high school history can play a fundamental role in cultivating the innovative spirit of students.As socialism with Chinese characteristics enters a new era,the reform of basic education curriculum has also entered a deep water area.Among them,the changes in the subject of high school history are especially obvious,with new curriculum standards and textbooks coming out one after another,putting forward higher requirements for high school history teaching at this stage.In comparison,the revised high school history curriculum is more reflective of the times and in line with the actual situation of China's call for innovative talents.This paper takes this as the basic starting point and research motivation.Firstly,on the basis of existing research,it expounds my own understanding of innovation and the spirit of innovation,looks for the fit with high school history education,and finds that the issue of cultivating students' innovative spirit plays an important role in the intricate relationship between quality education and high school history education,and then precises educational positioning and value of cultivating students' innovative spirit.Secondly,it is further clear that the cultivation of students' innovative spirit in high school history teaching conforms to the realistic needs of the country,education and students,and has operational conditions at all levels from the theoretical basis to the practical environment.Then,from the point of view of history teachers,this paper analyzes the characteristics of the curriculum content which can be used to cultivate students' innovative spirit and gives some suggestions on its application in view of the current situation that the unified version of textbooks is being spread to the whole country,so as to provide reference for history teaching in senior high schools.Finally,combining real teaching cases and my own teaching design,I propose teaching principles and specific measures for cultivating students' innovative spirit.
