Educational drama is a teaching method in which teachers use drama to carry out classroom teaching in order to improve teaching efficiency.Educational drama application can enhance students' interest in learning in the teaching of chinese novels in high schools,help students understand texts more deeply,and improve students' independence and enthusiasm for participating in language learning.It can solve the problems of lack of student learning subjectivity,modeling of teaching content,outdated teaching concepts of teachers,single teaching methods,and teachers' lack of attention to the guidance of students' reading methods in the current teaching of chinese novels in high schools.The introduction of educational drama has provided new ideas for the development of novel teaching,but the current educational drama is still a new thing in the field of language subjects,and how to properly apply it to the teaching of high school Chinese novels needs to be explored in depth.This paper studies this from both theoretical and practical perspectives,and the full text includes five parts,namely:Chapter one: Introduction.First of all,the reasons for the selection of this paper are proposed from four aspects,namely,the importance of teaching Chinese novels in high schools,a series of problems in the current teaching of chinese novels in high schools,educational drama is in line with the concept advocated by the "New Curriculum Reform",and the introduction of educational drama is conducive to improving the current situation of Chinese novel teaching in high schools.This paper then sorts out the research status of "educational drama" and "novel teaching" at home and abroad,and determines the development status of educational drama in Britain and the United States and Hong Kong region, Taiwan region and the mainland.At the end of the first chapter,the research methods of this paper are elaborated,mainly including literature research method,questionnaire survey method and practical research method.Chapter two:Overview of Educational Drama Applications.This chapter includes three subsections,the first of which elaborates on the relevant concepts of educational drama,distinguishing between educational drama and drama education and textbook drama;The second section lists the application habits of educational drama in the teaching of high school novels,mainly including role play,teacher drama,imagination,questioning role,mime,improvisation,static mirroring,and diary letters;The third section describes the application of educational drama,which the author divides into three stages: pre-class preparation,class implementation and post-class summary.Chapter Three:Educational drama is applied to the basis for the teaching of Chinese novels in high schools.This chapter discusses the theoretical basis and the standards of the high school Language curriculum.First of all,there are three theoretical bases for applying educational drama to the teaching of chinese novels in high schools,namely "embodied cognition theory","doing middle school theory" and "multiple intelligences theory";Secondly,the concept and application of exercise forms advocated by educational drama are in line with the implementation suggestions advocated by the nature of language courses,basic concepts,and curriculum standards.Chapter Four: Research Status of High School Fiction Teaching.This chapter is divided into two parts,the first part of the statistics from the number and proportion of novels,the distribution of novel units in the unified edition of the high school language textbook selection of the situation,the conclusion is that "novel" occupies a very important position in the teaching of high school language reading.The second part of the author designed the "high school Chinese novel teaching status" questionnaire,the questionnaire is divided into a teacher version and a student version,it is distributed to the high school,respectively,by the language teachers and students to fill in,collation and recycling of the effective questionnaire,summarizing the current stage of high school Chinese novel teaching problems,that is: 1.the lack of student learning subjectivity;2.the teaching concept is outdated,the teaching method is single;3.the teaching content is single;4.the teacher does not pay attention to the guidance of reading methods.Chapter Five: Educational drama is applied to the practice of high school fiction teaching.This chapter is divided into two sections,the first section is an example of instructional design,The author selected the novel "Bai he hua" in the upper volume of the unified edition of the high school Chinese compulsory textbook,and used static mirrors,diaries,role plays and teachers' drama habits for specific teaching design.The second section reflects on the application of educational drama to the teaching of high school novels from the three aspects of text,teacher,and teaching.
