In recent years,the continuous promotion of music education reform in junior middle school also puts forward higher requirements for the cultivation of junior middle school students' music literacy and ability.In this context,it is of great significance to actively promote the innovation of teaching methods of singing class in junior middle school.We should pay attention to the cultivation of students' music literacy and singing ability.The activity-based teaching method focuses on activities to implement teaching,giving students more space to participate and exercise opportunities.Rich and diverse forms of activities can also fully stimulate students' interest in learning,which reflects the application value of the activity-based teaching method in junior middle school singing class.Singing class is an important part of music teaching in junior middle school.Cultivating students' singing ability in singing class is also one of the core teaching objectives.Therefore,we should pay attention to improving students' singing ability through improving teaching methods.This paper studies the practical application of the activity teaching method in the music singing class of Grade One in junior middle school,and makes a field investigation and analysis with the No.3 middle school in Wuwei City as an example.Firstly,it expounds the relevant concepts and theories of the activity teaching method,then investigates the application status of the activity teaching method in the music singing class of Grade One of Wuwei No.3 middle school,analyzing the application status of the activity teaching method in the singing class of Grade One,and explores the application feasibility of the activity teaching method in the singing class of junior middle school.This paper analyzes the application practice cases of activity teaching method in the music singing class of Grade One of Wuwei No.3 middle school,studies the application effect of activity teaching method in the music singing class of junior middle school through case analysis,and explores the existing shortcomings.The study finds that the main shortcomings of the application of activity teaching are as follows: the forms of activities need to be enriched;the students' subjectivity in singing class is not highlighted;the teaching content is not fully expanded and the classroom teaching environment is not good.Finally,in view of the current insufficient application of activity teaching method in junior middle school music class,this paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions,such as enriching the activity form of activity teaching method,highlighting the subjectivity of students,expanding the teaching content in combination with the characteristics of activity teaching method,creating a good classroom teaching environment and so on to effectively promote the application of activity teaching method in junior middle school music singing class.
