Since Tony Bozan put forward mind mapping as a thinking tool in 1860,mind mapping has been widely applied in all aspects of teaching by virtue of its advantages of improving learning efficiency and enhancing thinking ability,and has achieved gratifying results.However,few people have applied mind mapping to the biology teaching of ethnic minorities.With the proposal of the new curriculum reform,the original teaching method of blindly inculcating knowledge has been gradually eliminated.It has become an important research aspect for teachers at all levels to cultivate students' core literacy,improve students' thinking ability and help them form the connection between knowledge,especially in Mongolian middle schools where students' thinking mode is more direct and their thinking ability is not strong.Taking The Mongolian Middle School in Chaoyang County as an example,this study applied mind mapping to the biology classroom of Mongolian students,observed the effect of mind mapping on Mongolian students,found out the teaching method of mind mapping suitable for Mongolian students' understanding ability,and made an attempt to promote mind mapping in Mongolian middle schools.The study briefly the concept and the application principles of mind mapping,by means of the literature about mind mapping application steps,using the method of interview and questionnaire survey to know the Mongolian middle school students and teachers to mind map application and grasp the situation,found that few in chaoyang county,the Mongolian middle school teacher applying mind mapping in daily teaching,students to mind mapping is also a lack of understanding.This study combined with the application of mind map strategy,combined with the actual,application of mind map in chaoyang county,the Mongolian middle school,by looking at the students reflect and interviews with students representative,find out the shortcomings,is not suitable for improvements on the Mongolian students,summarized suitable for Mongolian students way of thinking of "three steps leading method" teaching strategy.By selecting classes with small differences to conduct experiments on the strategic steps,and comparing the changes in the scores of the control class and the experimental class before and after the experiment,the advantages of the "three-step dominant method" are confirmed,which provides reference for the application of mind mapping in Mongolian middle schools and new ideas for the teaching of Mongolian middle schools.
