With the continuous deepening of urbanization,the diversified problems of cities are gradually revealed,among which the traffic problem is the most critical one.More and more cars are owned by families in China,and the disorderly expansion of cities leads to great pressure on the maintenance of urban order.Once handled improperly,it will have a significant impact on the normal life and travel of residents.Urban Development and urban traffic interact and influence each other.TOD(transit-oriented Development)Development mode is the most effective way to solve the current traffic problems,which can bring new ideas for China to deal with the current chaotic traffic problems.TOD is a new model featuring high efficiency,openness,sharing and activation.It emphasizes the effective allocation of resources and the integrated development of industry and city,which is conducive to solving the current "urban disease".Especially for rail transit construction,its land use tends to focus on simply covering the ground,while TOD is more macroscopic and efficient in terms of guidance.This article follows the train of thought for studying the problem oriented,first through the literature analysis method to TOD,rail transit,and defined the concept of the urban rail transit,this paper expounds the theoretical basis,and then analyzes the impact on land exploitation and utilization of urban track traffic,then combined with the related theory,TOD mode of rail transit site surrounding land development planning and design,This paper draws the following conclusions :(1)starting from the TOD concept,it analyzes the interactive relationship between urban transportation and land use,and points out that the TOD development mode guided by rail transit can maximize the integration of resources between the two and promote the benign mutual promotion and circular development of city and transportation.(2)The research scope of land use near the site is defined as 500 meters,and the corresponding research scope of suburban site is defined as 1000 meters.(3)according to the specific empirical studies of the xi ’an subway line 8,think that with the increasing distance from the site of,the corresponding accessibility presents a certain degree of attenuation,and different types of urban land in terms of type and proportion also will appear with the corresponding change,land development intensity at the same time also can produce the corresponding change.(4)According to the land use situation near xi ’an Metro Line 8 station,the optimization strategy of land use layout,development intensity,road traffic and connection system and underground space development is proposed.
