In recent years,with the saturation of China’s auto market,the slow growth of auto production and sales,and the rapid development of new vehicle manufacturing forces,the competition in auto manufacturing industry has become more and more feverish,resulting in the continuous increase of cost pressure in auto manufacturing enterprises.As a traditional manufacturing enterprise,nearly 70%-80% of the operating costs of auto parts manufacturing enterprises are procurement costs,which account for a large proportion of the company’s operating costs,and procurement costs directly affect the business indicators of enterprises.Every penny saved in procurement directly contributes to the profit of the enterprise,so the good or bad procurement management directly affects the cost competitiveness of the enterprise.In the face of the current fierce market competition and the unpredictable market environment,manufacturing companies want to achieve healthy and sustainable development,strengthen procurement management to create a high stability,high capacity,collaborative development of the supply chain is essential.In summary,manufacturing enterprises must pay great attention to procurement management,constantly review the deficiencies in procurement management,continuously optimize and improve the content of procurement management,to ensure compliance,scientifically reduce procurement costs,improve procurement efficiency,ensure the safe and sustainable development of the supply chain,and help enterprises improve their core competitiveness.This paper takes the auto parts manufacturing company FAWAY as the research object,combines the current internal and external forms faced by FAWAY,and conducts an in-depth study on the optimization of FAWAY’s procurement management.The first chapter introduces the background of this research and the significance of the research,the method and content of the research,the theoretical basis of the research and the review of excellent research results at home and abroad.The second chapter elaborates on the current situation of the enterprise of Faway Company,the current situation of procurement management,the existing problems of procurement management and the causes of the problems.The main reasons for the existing problems of procurement management of Faway Company include the imperfect division of responsibilities of procurement organization,the imperfect construction of procurement management system,the weak awareness of supplier management,the insufficient application of procurement digital means,and the uneven professional ability of procurement system personnel.The third chapter mainly proposes an optimization plan for the current problems of procurement management of Faway Company,combining the theoretical basis of research and current excellent research results,and proposes a detailed optimization plan for Faway Company from three aspects: optimization of material procurement management,optimization of supplier management and optimization of contract management.The fourth chapter introduces the implementation and guarantee measures of procurement management optimization program of Faway Company.The implementation of the program is mainly divided into three stages: promotion,implementation,and review.And the detailed guaranteed measures are elaborated from four aspects: enterprise culture,organization,personnel and technology.Finally,the implementation effect of procurement management optimization program of Faway Company is pre-evaluated from three aspects of cost reduction,efficiency improvement and enterprise competitiveness enhancement.
