Abstract/Summary:
As an indispensable place in the preschool education stage, kindergarten plays a crucial role in the physical and psychological growth and development of children. The spatial and visual design of kindergarten has internal connections with children’s growth, social interaction, activities, and other aspects. This study applies the method of spatial and visual co-construction design to kindergartens, aiming to promote children’s cognition and provide necessary conditions for their physical and psychological growth.Based on the interdisciplinary background of students’ understanding of space design and visual design, and supported by the theory of co-construction,this study explores the relationship between various elements of kindergarten vision and space and children’s psychological needs and functional site needs from the perspective of children’s cognition and behavioral psychology.Through literature research and field research methods, the design needs of kindergarten space and visual co construction were studied.Through case analysis, the co construction mechanism and design principles of co-construction design are derived.Co-construction is not an isolated design. It is the integration, restriction, and composition of elements such as materials, colors, scales, and structures in the kindergarten space with elements such as graphics, colors, text, and layout covered by children’s vision, while meeting children’s psychological and functional needs.Based on the above derivation,at the end of the thesis, combined with the field survey of experimental kindergartens in Tongshan District,Xuzhou City, the existing problems on the spot were analyzed, and a co structured design scheme was proposed based on the psychological needs of children, the functional needs of places, and the cultural needs of kindergartens,to verify the feasibility of the study.
