Activation Design Of Canal Greenway Park In Hangzhou Based On Spatial Production Theory

Lasting for thousands of years,the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal has accompanied the development of coastal cities,leaving a wealth of cultural resources and historical heritage,and at the same time is closely related to the lives of surrounding residents.The development of The Times has endowed the canal with a new historical mission.The research and rational utilization of the canal space resources are still worthy of attention and consideration.This study takes the Gongshu section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal as the object,interpreates the vitality status quo of the public space of the Gongshu section based on Baidu heat map,and obtains the basic characteristics of the high-medium-low vitality of the canal Greenway park in different periods,and combines the spatial behavior survey and questionnaire survey to obtain the internal influence and external representation of the low vitality.The main body of the low vitality space is the canal Greenway park.Based on Lefebvre’s theory of space production,the game situation of various forces in the renovation and development of Canal Greenway Park is interpreted under the framework of space practice,representation space and space representation.Combined with the needs of residents and tourists,the reasons for the low vitality of Greenway Park are expounded from three dimensions of institutional space,social space and material space and the conclusion is drawn: 1.Problems existing in greenway park under development management mode.2.Spatial strategies aimed at preserving the canal environment.3.Mismatch between audience demand and space supply.According to the conclusion of the above analysis,optimization strategies to improve the vitality of greenway park should be put forward from the macro,meso and micro levels,such as the gradual perfection of institutional space,the reconstruction of social space to meet people’s needs and improve the happiness index,and the reconstruction of material space to improve the park itself.On this basis,Qingsha Park is selected as a specific case to verify the above proposed strategies.In the mode of development and management,it is more inclined to look for the park’s own value.In the medium level,problems such as lack of landscape value,single site function,few cultural characteristics and lack of attraction are solved by exploring the historical value of Qingsha Park and constructing four scenes with "Cao ship" culture as the theme.At the micro level,improve the accessibility of the park,improve the supporting service facilities of the park,increase the strong destination and rational use of the space under the bridge to rebuild the vitality of the park.This study applies the theory of space production to urban parks,provides a new perspective to think about the reasons for the low vitality of urban green space,and expands the idea of research.
